With the new Nicole Kidman film Grace of Monaco premiering at the Cannes Film festival last month, it lead us to admire the amazing vintage glamour of Grace Kelly.
Kelly was a Hollywood movie star who married the Prince of Monaco, becoming Princess Grace of Monaco. She was famous for her pearls and signature Kelly bag which was named after her. She made this Hermès bag famous when seen carrying it around when pregnant. The infamous bag lives on and can be seen on the arms of celebrities such as Victoria Beckham and formerly Princess Diana.
There is no doubt that Grace Kelly was a natural beauty. Her style only emphasised her beauty. This look will never date as Kelly represented what most women dream of being – glamorous, kind, elegant, beautiful and sophisticated. Women aspire to be her, a princess living in one of the most exclusive places in the world.
A timeless beauty with a timeless look.

Whilst flicking through the new campaign from Kelsey Genna
we were transported back to the ’90s and the wardrobe of our childhoods – who remembers floral cycling shorts?!
Designer & Founder Kelsey has been creating floral sportswear for herself since she was a teenager, and is helping to bring that nostalgia to her collection, featuring everything from floral crop tops to leopard leggings and swimwear.

Unless you hadn’t noticed yet, we really like pretty things here at Cellardoor, so you can imagine how easily we have fallen in love with these beautiful dresses from Gertrude Made
These vintage-style dresses are beautifully handmade by Cathi, who hails from Australia. After learning to sew at a young age, she’s never lost her passion for it and that is clear just by looking at her lovely clothing.
If you have something extra special in mind, she’ll even work with you to custom make the dress of your dreams – and the shipping doesn’t cost the earth either!

The latest lookbook from Urban Outfitters has got us dreaming of heading to Paris with their dreamy images shot by Lina Scheynius. We love the laid-back casual look mixed with the elegance of the backdrop of the french countryside and city streets.
Featuring casual denim, feminine shapes and washed out prints – it’s the perfect mix of romantic grunge and their signature edgy look that we love.
The rip-roaring new single from Miles Kane does what it sets out to achieve. Delivering retro riffs and kooky hooks, Kane has once again whipped up a frenzy of excitement and condensed it into just over three minutes with new track ‘Taking Over’.
Well-known for his stylish fashion choices and famous friends, the 27 year old singer hailing from the Wirral, is finally making his mark fashioning sassy tunes, anthemic choruses and pairing the odd cliché with razor sharp song writing.
Having felt like he had something to prove, that he’s more than just Alex Turner’s best pal, the Wirral riddler has definitely broadened his horizons and reached out to new audiences (as well as tickling the fancies of old and loyal fans). The ferocious grooves of Kane’s third single from his second album ‘Don’t Forget Who You Are’ will enchain you as it easily impresses.
Miles Kane will undertake a 10-date UK tour this autumn. ‘Taking Over’ is out August 19th on Columbia Records.

Now that we’ve got the Winter issue out of the way, we’re well and truly looking forward to the Spring. We can’t wait for the weather to warm up, most of all so we can finally take our pretty dresses out of hiding. Speaking of pretty dresses, we’ve fallen head over heels for Orla Keily’s Spring Summer 2011 collection. We love her signature retro style with lots of feminine touches, especially the peach coloured polka dot peter pan collar dress.
